    It was a gratg idea in order to involve potential clients, no bad way to promote a campaign, actually.

    The problem I saw is that they ignore asking for people permission. Media subjet is sensitive, I can not go walking through cities taking pictures os videos and uploading it to internet, radio or TV. People has right to do not accept for a picture or video.

    Last year Nike worked in a campaign where the promote marathon, they tried to place his name on the highest level of the world of athletics, they was looking for beat a mark: reduce the time of the marathon by two hours.

    Obviously they show their tech applied in sport stuff.

    I think this campaign is memorable because they made an alliance with NatGeo, they filmed a documentary about the marathon preparation.

    Sony is a very well-known and popular brand, which produces a variety of electrical goods, such as camera, phones, DVD recorders, and so on. They ran a memorable campaign a few years ago in order to launch a new camera phone. The company hired actors who had to pretend to be tourists, wander through US cities. They asked passers-by to take their photo, so to have an excuse to show them the camera and the actors then recommended their new camera. Although a clever effective campaign in itself, the problem was that Sony later admitted that they had done and people were outraged. In order Sony to make their campaign memorable they used word-of-mouth very successfully. However some people complained about the way the product was promoted.

    I think that the campaign was a good idea because they use famous people in order to attract the attention of the passers-by. Also, because in the most of the time common people think that all the stuff that actors use are quality things, so in this case if they see a famous person using the camera they will want to buy it.

    Exercise 4
    4.1 Coca Cola had always done a very nice advertising campaign when Christmas is coming. People love it because their commercials call the family´s unity during this time. One example is the polar bears drinking Coca Cola in the middle of the North Pole.
    4.2 Their commercials do people feel exciting because of the Christmas and it always represent the meaning of this time that is the unity of family, charity and love.

    Coca Cola's advertising about Christmas is always a good way to the company to share to the people the meaning of this time. Also, this is a good way to promote the beverage in a family atmosphere introducing values like: charity, love and friendship. Besides they take advantage of the cool weather in the North Pole in order to create a feeling of thirst and refreshment to the audience.
    In the same way, a clever effective campaign is to put the polar bears because it makes more attractive for the people especially to the children, so to have another population of interest. To make more advertising they always put their commercials before each movie in the cinemas.

    I consider that it was a good campaign, because it let the people used the camera without the pressure of the brand or a person selling the product. I do not think that people shoul feel outraged, I do not find a reason for that, it was just a simply strategy to promote the product and it does not affect to anyone.

    Exercise 4

    Actually, I hardly ever watch TV, for that reason I usually see more campaign by facebook. A recent memorable campaign for me is which "Diay, es mi consejo." do every day in its facebook page.
    Because its product or service is its own campaign at the same time.

    Exercise 5a

    "Diay, es mi consejo" is a facebook page where you receive advices or motivation words from monday to friday every morning or sometimes, more than one in a day. Its product or service is, at the same time, its campaign. It is because there is a good intention behind the service or the brand, the people that work in this company, wants people happier, safer of themselves and more proactive. For that reason, when they want to promote a product or a person, there is a lot of followers that are going to watch the advise and, maybe for gratitud, to buy the product or support the person.
    In my opinion, this is a good campaign because the people trust in its service due to its preocupation to create a better world with better people. There is a relation of gratitud from its followers that help in every campaign.

    I think it was a witty campaign. The found a way to get a really close touch with the people. Maybe the shouldn't have admitted that campaign and keep the actors think as a secret, I think no one would have noticed.

    Exercise 4
    1) I really found amazing the campaign that Huawei run for one of their cell phones. They asked people to take pictures and upload them to a webpage, I guess, and later they were going to choose the best ones and make some sort of a book or compillation.
    2) I liked it because the people were strongly taken into account. The people could take part of it and not using more than their cell phones camera they realized that they could take photographer-quality pictures.

    Exercise 5
    Huawei is a recognized brand because of their smartphones. They ran an amazing campaign in 2015 for the new smartphone Huawei P8. The company created a hashtag #CostaRicadenoche in which the users could upload their photos of the city of San José at night, using the improved camera of the smartphone to capture low light photos. The people had just to take a picture and go to costaricadenoche.com to submit their photos. Then they, Huawei brand, created a photograph book with the best photos. The campaign was really accepted by the custumers and the new smartphone was on top of the market.

    I personally think it was a new and unique way to promote a product. I do not consider that bad, as some people did, except in the case that those actors had lied to the people to convince them. I could even say that it was a better campaign than other companies' considering that many times we recommend various products to our friends in the same way as actors did.

    Exercise 4

    1. In the last days I have seen on TV and social media a campaign that is looking to create awareness about the safety of motorcyclists. The promoter in this case is the INS.
    2. In the advertisement there are people talking about the way in which riders should pass other vehicles. The advices they give are the opposite of what should be done in a safe way. They say, for example, that as fast as you can go on the street to pass others it is even better. At the beginning, there is only the top of their body on scene, but as they are advising, the camera focus all the body and you can see that they have an amputated leg. Therefore, you can conclude that those advices, from that people, can lead you to end in the same situation as them. I do not know if that is considered reverse psychology, but it is, in my opinion, an effective way to make people understand the importance of having a good behavior when driving any vehicle.

    Exercise 5.a

    According to the analysis made by the Consejo de Seguridad Vial (COSEVI), the amount of injured people and deaths related with car accidents increased from 2012 to 2015. Some other studies suggest that many of those accidents involve motorcycles. These results have led to a new advertising campaign from the Instituto Nacional de Seguros (INS), which is trying to show the motorcyclists the importance of driving safely. This campaign consists on a series of videos with people giving bad advices about some situations on the street, such as driving fast and being rude to other drivers. At the end it is shown that those people have suffered serious accidents causing damages to each one’s life.
    The campaign, which show the results of a bad behavior when driving a motorcycle, uses some titles to the videos such as "¿Cómo pasarse un semáforo en rojo?" or "¿Cómo rayar en curva?". The tutorials use popular speaking and have a final message about driving with care.
    This is not the first campaign of its kind though. Last year it was seen the "El chasís sos vos" campaign from COSEVI, trying to reduce the amount of accidents involving motorcycles. It is expected that in the next months the result can be notable.

    Exercise 4.1 4.2.
    The political party called Movimiento Ciudadano, in Mexico, based much of its advertising on a video in which a Mexican child repeatedly sings about the citizen movement and that the future is in the hands of the people. Actually the video was popularized thanks to social networks and the innovative way to promote the political party.

    Exercise 5
    Zesta is a brand of Costa Rican garbage bags, which has started a campaign based on images and phrases with double meaning or funny content, for example, "Lleve-Zesta (Take this)" or the comparison of the actress dress Star Wars with a trash bag of that brand. Currently, Zesta sends positive messages of the use of garbage bags and their recycling, based on some jokes with reality.

    A recent memorable advertising campaign has been when adidas promote new shoes but using a very famous athlete and they made tricks or fantastic things. That campaign was in the social network media Instagram. Was very fantastic because they join different athletes and every athlete has a different way to represent his/her sport.

    Adidas are the biggest company that produce sport shoes. I think that they produced a very useful and comfortable shoe every sport in the world. Obviously, they are famous for the quality of their products and in my opinion, because they create a very creative and ingenuity campaign. They have important clients.
    In this case the campaign was very interesting, and they caught the people because every commercial was different and with different athlete. Also, an important thing was the music that they use in the commercial. Maybe they want to catch a different people then they use this social network.     I think it was a really good idea of promoting they product. If I were one of the persons that they asked to take a photo with their new camera, I don’t think I would be mad of realize that I was part of a campaign. It was great because people can see with their own ayes the quality of the camera and make their own honest opinion.

    1. What has been a recent memorable advertising campaign?
    A memorable advertising campaign for me was for the book “Goodnight stories for revel girls”
    2. What is it that made this campaign memorable?
    It was memorable because it made a stamen of who in the children’s book there is no female hero, or, at less, an female character with an important participation. And that is why the book was made, to show little girls to have bigger dreams.

    Frailes Coffee Fair is an event in which, every day, coffee gatherers, farmers, artisans, merchants, neighbors of the area, small and large companies dedicated to the production and marketing of coffee, we organize and share with all visitors a great diversity of activities such as: tasting, recipes based on coffee and a whole menu of typical dishes. There is also live music, folkloric dances, the “Competition in the Caferal”, and the “Reign if the Coffee”, together with the religious activities in honor of the Virgin of Perpetuo Socorro.

    4)I seen a campaign of Kolbi, about the soccer World Cup. This was memorable because Kendall Waston is sitting in a small chair talking with childrens.

    5) Kölbi is a telecommunications company. For the 2018 soccer World Cup they start a campaign based on Kendall Waston, player of the team, to make funnier the ad. In this one the teacher is taking the list and when she says the name of Kendall, he does not answer, because he is talking with the other kids. The ad talk about the use of the mobile data, and they said that everytime that you recharge your phone number you are going to receive actions to participate in a raffle of travels to Rusia.

    I think that the campaign was a very good idea, because usually famous people are followed by other people (sometimes called fans), who usually accustom to copy and act like that famous persons, therefore, if people sees their idol using a new phone, probably, they will buy that same phone.

    4.1. Apple upload some videos on You Tube as an advertising campaign, where people who was using other types of smart phones different than IPhones use to have many problems.
    4.2. It was memorable because, Apple was indirectly saying that the Android phone use to have many problems that you won find on an IPhone such as security, storage and others.

    Exercise 5a
    Apple is one of the biggest Tech companies around the world, the company started as a computers factory, but the innovation allowed the company work in other fields and that is why Apple offers many services included in your device when you buy a computer or smartphone. Apple used to call the people attention because of their very innovative products, so when the company had a new release, the same people did advertising talking and guessing about the new feature that was coming into the world.
